Barry Jay Cutler is a contemporary artist based in South Florida.

Originally from Philadelphia, Dr. Cutler practiced neurology for more than forty years after relocating to South Florida in the late 1970’s. His distinguished medical career, rooted in the study of the human brain and its intricate systems, continues to inform the structure and depth of his visual work.

He began painting in retirement, developing a disciplined studio practice that balances precision with intuition. His diverse body of work reflects a quiet intensity — compositions shaped by observation, restraint, and emotional undercurrent.
